General 3 questions
It is Ethiopia's central repository for climate policies, plans, indicators, and project information, curated by the Ministry of Planning and Development.
The portal is maintained by the Climate Change Directorate within the Ministry of Planning and Development (MoPD), Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
All published documents are free to read and download for non-commercial use. If you intend to republish or build on a document, please contact us first.
Climate Action 2 questions
Progress against Ethiopia's NDC and national climate strategy is monitored through the indicators published in the Indicators section, updated quarterly by sectoral focal points.
Visit the Climate Projects page for an overview of active and recent projects, including their location, funding source, and implementation status.
Resources & Publications 2 questions
Use the Resources page — search by title, filter by document type (policy / plan / report) or by category, and download the file directly.
Yes — staff members with portal accounts can subscribe to a category and receive an email whenever a new resource is published. Public subscription is coming soon.
Data & Indicators 2 questions
Indicators are refreshed by their owning directorate on a quarterly cadence. The last-updated timestamp is shown on each indicator detail page.
Yes — every indicator detail page exposes a CSV export button covering its full historical timeseries.
Account & Access 2 questions
Ministry staff and accredited partner-organisation focal points can request access. Contact your directorate's admin or use the Contact form below.
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page. The system emails a reset link to your registered work address.
